Study on carbon content in water environment for Nhue – Tolich river system by ANATOC equipment

In water environment, it’s possible to say that carbon element exists in 2 main forms: organic and inorganic carbon. Carbon content in water environment has an important role on aquatic ecosystems. It impacts directly on the aquatic organisms, leading to the impact of ecological balance. The pollution of organic matter has been common in water environment in Vietnam. This article presented the results of carbon content as TOC and TIV values in the Nhue River system (the Red River, Nhue River and Tolich River) in Hanoi during the year of 2003.
