Land quality in Hanoi Agricultural University
The whole research area 73.46 ha belongs to major soil group fluvisols with 6 sub-soil units: silti eutric fluvisols, abrupti eureic fluvisols, silti cambric fluvisols, silti gleyic fluvisols, areni gleyic fluvisols. Soil quality is medium. For good cultivation condition it needs to add various fertilizers, combined inorganic and organic fertilizers. Due to low and medium CEC, fertilizer should be applied with small amount to increase fertilizer’s effect. The area of sustainable land use types proposed for future: LUT2 of rice and rice experimental field 41.81 ha, reduced 0.56 ha, which is transferred to LUT of rice-cash crop and LUT rice-fish; LUT2 rice-cash crop: 2.75 ha, increase 1.61 ha, which is transferred from LUT2 rice and LUT rice-cash crop; LUT 2 cash crop – experiment field: 9.33 ha, increase 1 ha, which is transferred from LUT rice-cash crop; LUT nursery: 4.87 ha, increase 0.23 ha taken from LUT rice-cash crop; LUT rice-fish: 6.57 ha, increase 0.72ha taken from LUT 2 rice; LUT fruit tree: 8.13 ha no changing in area.
