A study of Zinc content in some main soils of Vietnam and warning of soil Zn contamination in peri-urban areas
Average content of Zn about 32, 83 mg Zn/kg soils respectively for acrisols and for fluvisols. Zn content in ferrasols was 107mg Zn/kg soil, is still good so far as comparison with the Canadian recommendation for agricultural soil quality. Zn content study in traditional rural handicraft and in sub peri urban areas warned an Zn accumulation in mud and in sludge with very high Zn contents were observed. It is an alarm to protect this area and preventing using river of lake city mud for planting food crops such as vegetable for example.
