The potassium status in acid sulfate soil in the North of Vietnam
Acid sulphate soil is high in total potassium, 1.66-2.22%. The quantity of available potassium is not high, 11.07mg/100g soil. Concentration of non-exchangeable is higher, 18.27-39.28 mg/100g soil in surface soil horizon. Potassium potential in acid sulphate soil is 2.11-2.79. potassium buffering capacity of acid sulphate soil is high, 30.42-53.38 (me/100g soil)(mol/l)-1/2 . The utilization of potash fertilizer in acid sulphate soil had no effect on the concentration of potassium forms except available potassium and on the yield of rice C70.
