Double rice on acrisoils is important for solving food shortage and improving economy of the region. It could improve soil environment: preventing or reducing soil erosion, reducing the formation of concretes in the soil, increasing essential nutrients for crops. Irrigated rice cultivation meets requirements of sustainable ecological agriculture.
