The period and phosphate dosage for commercial tea plantation (variety PH₁) at Phu Ho station, Phu Tho province

Tea is known to prefer acidic soils of pH 4.5-5.5, but the pH of Vietnam tea field has declined to levels closer to 4.0. To correct this level of low pH, powdered lime or symmetrical inorganic fertilizers are used. Thus, to increase the fertilizer use efficiency of phosphate one possible means is to improve the methods and period of time phosphate application.
