Study on current status of land management of cemetery in Hue city

SUMMARY
The paper aims to assess current status of land management of cemetery in Hue city. Results showed that Provicial government is interested in State management work on land for cemetery but is has not comprehensive in term of many factors. Land use planning for cemetery has not detailed plan for each position, period or year. Almost cemetery has not detailed planning. City Government has still not managed land use limit for cemetery. Most of graves has been buried arbitrary. Localizing and making landmark has not been carried out, as a result, local people could not recognised border line. Breach on land use of cemetery has been treated by drawing up report or writing a pledge. Management solution mainly was propaganda, therefore, its effective management was not high.
