Soils, water environment and “hygienic vegetable area planning” in Hanoi city
Land in the south west of the city is polluted by waste water of Kim Nguu, to Lich canals. Pollutants included heavy metals, COD, therefore these industrial areas not to be selected for planning of organic agriculture development. Land planned for vegetable growing by this included 33 communes of 5 districts, mainly situated in the northern part of the city.
