Assessment on the auction of land use right at Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province in the period of 2011-2015

SUMMARY

The objective of this study is to assess the current auction of land use right in Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province and propose solutions. In period of 2011-2015, the district has developed 84 projects and held successful the auction for 78 projects with the total area of 160,986.9m2 in 22 communes and towns, earning 222.264 billion Vietnamese dong for the state and local budgets. Results of the Auction of land use right in the studied projects showed that the difference between the total of money obtained and the total estimation of money obtained fluctuates from 1.00 to 5.14 times, depends on location and number of participants. In the coming time, the district should pay attention to the proposals on starting price for auction area; prepare proper arrangement of schedule, construction of infrastructure and advertising on the auction areas for the better result in auction of land use right.
