61 samples from 14 representative soil profiles. The soil is hapli plinthic acrisols. K content of the soil is very low. Total K is 0.10 -0.98%. exchangeable K is 2.40 -3.98mg/100g soil. Non exchangeable K is 8.25-19.37mg/100g soil. K potential of the soil is high, 2.60-2.93. high value of K potential is indicative of K deficiency. Low PBC^K soil would suggest the need for frequent K fertilization.
