Multi-criteria analysis (MCA) is applied for evaluating sustainable agricultural land use in Lam Ha district, Lam Dong province
The fact of the matter chooses LUSs corresponding to social economics and environment. First, its is very important to determine accurately a set of key criteria, which take part in the progress of the operation. Second, analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method can be used to calculate overall weight of every criterion. The purpose of building the thematic layers is to overlay them to calculate suitability index for every area to reclassify suitability index. This process results in the map that shows areas with different suitability levels for sustainable land use, which helps decision makers choose areas for sustainable agricultural land use. Case study of Lam Ha district has given a good result that is appropriate for the reality condition of the district.
