Summary
Management of soil nutrient under cassava
5 degraded in term of soil properties – low soil fertility soil types were investigated. Application of mineral fertilizers increased cassava yield by 20-112% compared to control. Combination of organic manure, mineral fertilizers and hedgerow farming increased cassava and intercepted peanut yields with 43-46% compared to the application of organic fertilizer only.
