3 kinds of acid sulphate soil (strong, moderate and light). Phosphorous fixing ability is highly in acid sulphate soils, and increased depending on the level of sulphate salt in the soil. Recommendation: 40-60 kg P₂O₅/ha in winter-spring season, 60-80 kg P₂O₅/ha in summer-autumn season for light and moderate acid sulphate soil, for other 120-180 kg P₂O₅/ha.
