Classification of acid sulphate soils of the Mekong Delta based on the revised legend of the World soil map FAO-UNESCO
Acid sulphate soils of the Mekong Delta consists of three major soil grouping: fluvisols, gleysols and histosols. Revised legend showed that the depth of sulfuric horizon or sulfidic materials can be indicated at the third levels with prefix of Epi- (within 50cm) and Endo- (between 50 and 125cm).
