Lead in fluvisol of Vietnam
With the density probability of 97.5% Pb content in Vietnam cultivated surface fluvisol range from 13.67 to 3.95 mg/kg and this interval is proposed as the background value of Pb which is frequently observed in fluvisol of Vietnam in the period of 2001-2003. The average content of Pb in cultivated surface fluvisols is 33.81 mg/kg soil with the confidential interval of 95%, the Pb average content is ranged from 32.36 to 35.26 mg/kg soil. The value is proposed as the mean of Pb value in fluvisol of Vietnam. The value is lower far from Vietnamese standard Pb value recommended for agricultural soil, 70 mg.kg soil (TCVN, 7209-2002). Pb content in fluvisol of the Red River delta is higher than that of the medium of fluvisol of Mekong River delta. Another river fluvisols had the lowest content of Pb in comparison with both MeKong and Red River fluvisols.
