A comprehensive quantitative study of the soil fertility differentiation at plot scales in the hill region of the Red river basin
One upland soil and two lowland soil profiles are described, 53 soil samples from lowland cultivated layer are analysed for physicochemiacal characteristics. Land classification by geohydromorphic criteria fits correctly the statistical classification. Among of lowland soils, soils in large talwegs are different from soils in small talwegs. Agricultural practices and water conditions are interpreted as the amin causes resulting the difference
