The adsorption, desorption and fixation of phosphate in soils of the humid tropics

Studied: 254 soil samples of 14 various soils of 7 soil groups: ferrasols, acrisols and fluvisols.

P-Adsorption = 286 + 0,15 Fe; P-Adsorption = 270 + 10,3 Al; P-Adsorption = 257 + 0,66 Clay

P-Adsorption = 457 + 32,5 pH.

P-Fixation = 188 – 14,67 pH; P-Fixation = 151 – 22,28 SiO₂/R₂O₃; P-Fixation = 137 – 5,11 available P.
