Assessing the effect of fertilizers on paddy yield in northern Vietnam
Dependence of spring and summer rice yield on fertilizer investment is 36.78% and 21.70% respectively. Nitrogen fertilizer has the highest effect. The existing FYM application rate has reached the economic threshold. At application of 307kg SSP/ha in spring season and 243kg/SSP/ha in summer season, additional application if phosphorus fertilizers doesn’t increase paddy yield in both rice crops. In general, the efficiency of additional potassium fertilizer investment will be low.
