Forms of potassium in soils planted coffee in the highlands

Forms of potassium are dependent on moisture and potash fertilizer applied. At the same condition, potassium extracted by H₂SO₄ 0,1 N and CH₃COONH₄ 1N are higher in Rhodic ferralsols than in Haplic acrisols, but potassium extracted by H₂O is reversible. There is the antagonism between nitrogen fertilizer applied and potassium extracted by CH₃COONH₄ 1N in soils.
