Influence of waste materials of Bai bang paper mill on the growth and yield of rice
The treated wasted from this mill go to Red river through ditch system. However, the water waste still goes straight to field of Phu Nham and Tien Du communes without treatment. It contains not only organic compound, but also some toxic organic compound in liquid type with Cl–, Na–, Hg, Cd, Pb. Accumulation of toxic organic compound in the soil has decreased components of rice fields and reduced the rice yield from 9.1-37.2%.
