Summary
Specific surface of some main soil types of Vietnam
Study was carried out by Maximum hygroscopic and “BET” methods. Specific surface of soils are: ferralsols (93.2-96.6) > acrisols (44.7-52.1) > fluvisols (16.1-40.8) > arenoslos (7.2). BET method is more accurate than maximum hygroskopic method. Ferralsols has highest value of specific surface, arenosols has lowest value.
