Preliminary results on the dissolved silica content in some rivers and reservoirs in the north of Vietnam

Dissolved silica concentration in the water column is closely correlated with the development of diatoms, making a big influence on the ecological balance of aqua system. Study on the loss of silica by the transport process from the land to the sea ware always attracted attention. This article presents some preliminary results on the dissolved silica content in some rivers and reservoirs in North Vietnam.
