The dramatic increase in fertilizer use in recent past
Based on results of a long-term research mainly field trials, statistical data and farmer household survey, a comprehensive analysis of the status of fertilizer production and supply, past and recent use of fertilizer for crops during the last 4 decades. Dealt with were economic efficiency of fertilizer use, especially for rice; and main direction for fertilizer production and supply for the next two decades.
