On chemical environment of Red river alluvial soil in the field experiment
Fertilizers cause different effects on chemical environment of soil. Application of N, P fertilizers increased the soil acidity. Application of phosphate fertilizer decreased the capacity of soil to adsorb phosphorus. The proper ratio of N:P:K for rice found here is about 100:41:55.the flooding process also has strong effects on chemical properties of soil, especially in two to three weeks of flooding soil. The content of NH4+ and available phosphorus was increased about twofold because of the flooding process. However, they may become more or less stable after 4 weeks.
