Some properties of degraded basaltic soils in the Central Highlands and measures for restoring soil fertility
Porosity, moisture, filed capacity soil of the degraded soil are declined, content of water stable aggregated having large diameter decreased. Kinds of organic fertilizers burying to soil with large quantity resulted in improving physical and chemical soil properties and restoring relatively rapid fertility. Green manure legume plants have good growing rate on degraded basaltic soil and give large amount of biomass and nutrients to the soil. Improved soil properties lead to high rice yield.
