Effects of measures of humidity preservation for drought resistance on soil moisture and soybean growth DT84 in slopping land at Bac Giang

Experiment results: humidity preservation measures for soyabean such as periodical irrigation, plastic cover, straw cover had low efficiency when serious drought occurred. Plastic cover was limited by reducing rain water penetration in the soil when it is raining. Effects of drought resistant measures on yield and yield components of soybean in the treatments for drought resistance increased soybean yields compared with the control. Results pointed the highest efficiency of humidity preservation was treatments of periodical irrigation, plastic cover and using absorbent materials ARONZAP RS-2.
