Accumulation of heavy metal in agricultural soil and water in Daidong commune, Vanlam ditrict, Hungyen province
Soils samples were collected from there, which was some trade village of recycled zinc and handmade goods of copper, and examined for total heavy metals. Concentrations of Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn ranged from 0.92 to 2.19, 28.3 to 238.7, 43.6 to 321.8 and 58.2 to 329.9 mg/kg, respectively. Total concentration of heavy metals varied from site to site and tended to be higher in the site where trade village of recycled Zn and handmade goods of Cu are located. The pollution of Pb is most severe in soil and water samples at and near trade village of recycled Zn and handmade goods of Cu.
