Application of rare earth element pattern for classifying the main group of topsoil in Nam Bo, Vietnam
Topsoil samples from different locations of Nam Bo were collected and determined rare earth elements by instrumental neutron activation analysis. Rare earth elements were normalization by chondrite concentration and its pattern was drawn. Results: 3 main groups of topsoil existed in this area were found: alluvial soil, basalt soil and sandy soil. This founding is a good agreement with formerly concludes by soil classification.
