Isolation and selection of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza to inoculate for planting crop
Arbuscular Mycorrhiza strains that were isolated and selected are one’s growth fast, vitally high. Their spore has globose or sub globose shape, sometimes oblong. The color of spore was white to yellow brown and orange brown with size distribution from 100-400 nm. Inoculation of AM for crop promotes the plant growth and stimulates the colonization of AM fungi resulting in the enhancement of the plant vitality and tolerance with disadvantage condition or environment. 2 of 4 strains of selected AM as Gigaspora sp1 and Glomus sp2 proved to occupy more predominance. They have fast growth ability, their mycelium grew strong, the germination and vitality were high, as well as given superiority effect in host plants, hence, they could inoculate for crop.
