Heavy metal accumulation in canal waters and sediments of Ho Chi Minh city
Investigation for canal sediments show for following metals: As, Cd, Cr, Co, Pb, Cu, Hg, Mo, Ni, Ag, Zn, Fe, Al and Mn remarkable amounts. On the basis of geohydrochemical analysis data in connection with the evaluation of the concentration of some toxic heavy metals in sediments could be characterized as critically even to extremely polluted and contaminated.
