Surveying and evaluating economic efficiencies of land use systems in Ca Mau
In Ca Mau, soil and water are resources affecting immensely to the land-use arrangement for forestry and agriculture. Studying relation between land-use types and physical characteristics such as soil groups and saline intrusion, 43 land-use systems were determined. Based on integrated consideration of social-economic and environment protection objectives, 32 favourable land-use systems were chosen. These results can be used to choose perspective land-use types for the next steps of land evaluation procedure.
