Study on the ability of phragmites autralis in absorbing heavy metal in different soil environments with different heavy metal concentrations

SUMMARY

Study aims to evaluate the improvement of heavy metal polluted soil in different soil environments with different concentrations of heavy metal. Phragmites autralis is a kind of tree which has an ability to accumulate high level of heavy metal,  about 80 – 90% of the total content of heavy metal accumulated in the root. The total concentration of heavy metal reduces significantly: As decreases 0,92 times, Pb reduces 0,83 times, Cd declines 0,67 times, Zn lessens 0,86 times. Mobile processor efficiency of As reachs 99%, Pb is 96%, Cd is 95.4% and Zn reachs 96.6%.
