Analyzing and evaluation of fertility of paddy soils at Hoa Binh province
Investigation of 30 ha with 205 samples. Results: paddy soils have moderate acidity and mobile Al 0.11-9.86 me/100g soil. Mobile ferrous forms (Fe2+ and Fe3+) are in high levels 9.39-571.6 me/100g soil. Total organic maters are poor to moderate. Soils are poor to very poor in P and K ion both available and total pools. Available K is poor in 175 ha and very poor in 128ha. In sone areas, content of mobile ferrous are high, to 571.6 mg/100g soil. That may cause problem for rice cultivation. Fertilization guide for rice was recommended on base of the evaluation on actually soil fertility drawn from research.
