The efficiency of microbial organic fertilizer on rubber of nursery in Son La province

The general fertilizer and microbial organic fertilizer for rubber is currently a matter of necessity and urgency. To deal with this problem, the authors studied the use of agricultural by-products and peat in Son La province to produce of microbial organic fertilizer for rubber of nursery. Within the scope of this paper, the authors present some results of the evaluation of the efficiency of microbial organic fertilizer on rubber of nurseries in Son La province. The microbial organic fertilizer effected well to rubber of nursery. After 7 months fertilizing, the height of tree stump in the model 2 (MH2-used microbial organic fertilizer) has increased by more than 6.4 cm compared with rubber in the model 1 (MH1 – used inorganic fertilizer), in MH2 the height of the tree stump in potting soil has increased more than 8.3 cm compared with the one in MH1, diameter of stump in MH2 up 1mm over MH1 and 1.5 mm in the stump in potting soil. Number of tree stump reached standard rootstock in MH2 is 43.5%, higher than 2.3% when compared with the one in the MH1; the stump in potting soil then number standard rootstock in MH2 is 36.7% higher than 4.4% when compared with MH1. In the MH2 then rubber in the both of types of tree stump and stump in potting soil had living rate higher than stump in the MH1 from 3.5 to 6.6%. In the MH2, powdery mildews disease was in level 2 (lesions up 1/8 leaf area (12.5%), while this disease in the MH1 was in level 3 (lesions up 1/4 leaf area (25%). The die back disease and rootstok rot disease only appear in MH1 but does not in MH2. The investment for MH2 reduced 10,372,000 VND/ha when compared with MH1.
