Ferralsols in the North of Vietnam
Definition of 19 soil profiles of some soil types derived from metamorphic and clay shale of the north of Vietnam. All soil profiles were classified in lower levels than soil subunits as FAO/UNESCO/WRB recommended. Research result: these soils belong to ferralsols and acrisols. Soil hierarchic systems for studied sol at lowest levels have been established which w=are recommended for compilation of soil map legends at medium and large scales adopting FAO-UNESCO soil classification system.
