Summary
Lead in surface and drinking water the danger for human health (a case study of Dong Mai village, Chi Dao commune, Van Lam district, Hung Yen province)
Research results: the lead in soil and surface water is higher concentration than maximum contamination level. Most surface water samples have Pb concentration quite high, even a sample reached 10.81 mg/l more than 200 times in comparison with Vietnam standard. Most soil samples have Pb concentration quite high. Concentration of Pb in drinking water is fortunately still meet required standard. This paper proposed some solutions to aim at solving current problems, which include strengthening environmental education of the local people, examining health for working people periodically and providing science and technology for them.
