Soil raw organic matter, C, N affected by the hedgerow PF tephrosia candila under agroforestry system
Intercropping the hedgerow of green manure tree (tephrosia candila) is a resolution to enhance the soil organic matter and improve soil fertility. This practice has been tested to compare with the monoculture of hill rice. Changing of soil total organic matter is quite small during testing time. It is impossible to indicate by the total organic character. Changing in soil raw-organic matter fractions, content of C and N in those can be used as an indicator to identify the reaction of each testing treatment. Ludox method for raw-organic matter fractioning and Leco method for C, N determination could be an advantage for evaluation on the dynamic of these characteristics in the soil
