Assessing the effect of different types of urea fertilizer on Brassiaca oleracea

SUMMARY

The experiment was carried out to study the effect of different types of Urea fertilizer on growth, yield, quality of Brassiaca oleracea as well as economic efficiency of fertilizer using. The experiment consisted of four plots (CT1, CT2, CT3 and CT4) with three replications, all plots were randomly laid out. The results showed that Nitrogen fertilizer application promoted plant growth and reduced disease. These effects were clearly in CT4 plot. The quality of vegetable was better in plots with N application (CT2, CT3 and CT4), and the amount of NO3-was lower than the Vietnamese standard. N fertilization increases crop yield and economic efficiency of fertilizer using. In plot CT4, the values were the highest with 17.27 tons/ha and 41.82 million VND/ha (net profit), respectively.
